Jess’s connection to people and the land is reflected in her vibrant colourful portraits which entice viewers to look more closely and share in the story behind the image. Her portraits offer moments of reflection and humour. She works primarily in oil but enjoys experimenting with pen & paper, watercolour and mixed media. 

 

She and her partner, Robin, run Roots and Shoots Farm, in Ste. Cecile de Masham, close to Wakefield, Quebec
