Peinture

Rosalie aime travailler avec les contrastes, que ce soit en mixant des couleurs terres avec des couleurs vives ou en exploitant la force du noir et blanc. Ce contraste rappel la présence de cet art millénaire qu’est la poterie, encore présent dans nos vies modernes. Un art qui s’infiltre dans nos tâches quotidiennes et qui peut, si on y porte attention, nous reconnecter avec la nature qui nous offre la terre qui forme notre assiette tout en la remplissant d’aliments nourrissants.

Painting

Rosalie’s paintings evoke a strange mixture of tenderness and disorder. Bright colors are softened by the fluidity of movement. Transforming forms into inviting waves, both restful and mysterious, like a quiet sensuality that reaches out to us. The integration of human and animal themes adds life, transforming inert matter into an inhabited environment, the abstract into figurative.

 

Ceramics

Rosalie likes to work with contrasts, whether by mixing earth colors with bright colors or by exploiting the power of black and white. This contrast reminds us  the presence of this millennial art that is pottery, still present in our modern lives. An art that seeps into our daily tasks and can, if we pay attention, reconnect us with nature, which offers us the earth that forms our plate while filling it with nourishing food.
